Zuma Film Festival began as the Nigerian National Film Festival in 1992. The festival was created to provide a platform for film networking between Nigerian filmmakers and their counterparts from other film countrie.
Zuma Film Festival creates a platform to explore and expand film coproduction opportunities for Nigerian filmmakers.
The festival also recognises and rewards cinematic excellence as well as entrench professionalism, boost export potentials of Nigerian films while heralding Nigeria as Africa’s tourism and film destination hub. The 12th edition of the festival holds between 1st - 4th May. Nicon Luxury, ABJ. 5th - 7th May. ICC Africa Hall, ABJ.
